Train the Trainers: Leadership and Management Advanced Course

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

This course will be held over two days in Porto and focus on high level discussion centered around leadership and management. The course will include the following topics:

  • Leadership in Medicine
  • Conflict Resolution and Negotiation Skills
  • Career Longevity and Preventing Burnout
  • Optimizing Audit & Feedback
  • Budgets and Resource Allocation
  • Building a Brand/Obtaining Funding

 

SCHEDULE OVERVIEW:

DAY 1: Monday, 7 October from 08:00 to 18:00
DAY 2: Tuesday, 8 October from 08:00 to 17:00

INTENDED AUDIENCE:

Individual registration accepted. This course is intended for Gastroenterologists, Endoscopists, and Specialists in related areas of digestive health who will, or wish to, embark on leadership roles and enhance management skills.
 

REGISTRATION FEE: $750 USD

Fees include meals, materials and hotel accommodation. Registrant is required to cover their own travel to and from Porto, including flight and airport transfers.

CANCELLATION FEES:

Any registration cancellations can be made in writing directly to the WGO Secretariat no later than two weeks before the course. All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable $100 administrative fee. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days.
